We are a community-based organisation focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers.
The Sikh Community Care Project (SCCP) was set up in 1997 by a team of local volunteers in the Waltham Forest area. Services include advice, support and a variety of health, social, recreation & cultural activities for people from all over the community.
We run a number of projects for both the elderly and young adults. We also provide advice and information on benefits and pensions; a women's education and training services, advice and support work for benefits as well as a health project raising awareness and educating everyone about preventing and managing coronary heart disease, Type-2 diabetes and obesity.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community.
Your contribution today helps us make a difference tomorrow.
